I really enjoyed the day at your studio with getting styled and put into poses how I had never done before. So it was a very special experience of feeling beautiful and discovering new facettes of myself.
In the beginning the posing felt pretty strange but Cristina was able to help me getting into the right attitude and to relax more and more over time. When I saw the  photos for the first time I thought to myself, “Wow and yes, that’s me, too!”

I couldn’t imagine what the results could be. I’m so accustomed to seeing photos of myself and feeling self-conscious and self-critical. Seeing the little details I don’t like or am uncomfortable with.

Still, I showed up and she had about 20 amazing photos. All were unique and showing different qualities in me. It was impossible to choose only a handful. Who knew choosing would actually be the hard job?

Cristina is far more than a photographer. She has crafted an amazing journey. She coaches you before you even show up with a skype chat to help design which clothes and accessories to bring.

It is surreal to see so many beautiful pictures of myself. It was reinforcing, though, that, yes, I am that beautiful.
It makes me more aware of how to stand in photos, that is for sure. I see myself as more beautiful and I see how doing specific little things with my hair and make up can really make the effort worth it. The little added effort makes me look and feel even more beautiful. I don’t do the extras every day, but it is kind of an added super power in my tool box, so to speak.

When I initially arrived, I felt quite self-conscious about myself. A million questions about if I would love myself when I saw the photos. The make-up & hair stylist and Cristina were both very encouraging and warm. They made me feel special with their attention to even the smallest details, which made me feel relaxed and less self-conscious quickly. This especially showed when they were helping me pick out the right combinations in outfits and ensuring that my hair was right before taking photos. Being able to laugh a little also helped enormously to take the edge off.
